Each year teaching at O'Connell High School brings new faces and greater challenges. Teaching is
my passion. Facilitating learning is a rewarding and exhausting profession, but worth every second.
When I am not teaching
I enjoy boating, travel, computers, gardening, and spending time with my family. Boating was my passtime this summer. Each
week I traveled to another part of the Great South Bay and am even thinking about buying a bigger boat because I love it so
much. If only the summer was a little longer...
Want to join a club at school? Join Liberty Partnership and hang out with Mrs. Mandella doing
all sorts of exciting things. Plan and attend trips, guest speakers, travel to new places and meet interesting people. You
name it we have something going on in room 234 all the time!
